As dreams grow so do we, May 2006 we opened Paradise Parrot Park to the public. For more information on the facility, check out the Paradise Parrot Park page. The park will be open during normal visiting hours. There is no admission charge, but for those visiting the park donations are welcomed. Please sign the Guest Book when you arrive.

We continue to expand as the Building Fund allows, and the Park may be different each time you visit. Older flight areas are being removed and replaced with new aviaries to include improved feeders, watering and misting systems. 2008 saw the addition of the new porch area to house Adoptable and other birds. The original porch section for special needs birds is being renovated in 2009 with new windows, walls and insulation.

The park contains a total 17 outdoor flight areas, with more under construction, to house all species of parrots. The indoor adoptable area was completed in early 2009. The "Villa" amazon flight has a picnic table and benches so you can relax with the amazons out back. Don't forget to bring treats for them.

The camping area should be completed in 2009 for those wanting to spend the night. Pitch a tent or park your camper. Power and water connections will be available.

The frame work for the new 26 w x 22 h x 100 long all natural habitat flight is installed. It will contain a back wide wall with a water fall and small pond for the birds. This new flight will contain all natural vegetation. The goal is to create a realistic habitat to see how well the birds will adopt.

The 24 x 100 green house is now completed. A new well has been drilled and 4700 feet of under ground sprinkler system installed.

Rainbow Bridge pond has completed as well as the bridge. As soon as we hit 250 sold memorial bricks they will be shipped in and installed.

Every year we get over 1000 plants, trees and bushes donated. Many of these get planted by groups and organizations. You are welcome to participate!

There are always more plants in the green house waiting to find a new home around the grounds.

During the initial construction process of these facilities a great idea was born. We created a Memorial Park area for our beloved feathered family members and pets that have passed and are waiting for us at Rainbow Bridge. For more information, check out the Rainbow Bridge Memorial Walkway on the Paradise Parrot Park page.
