Oscar (aka Oscar Man)

Sponsored by: You should if you appreciate Royalty

This Moluccan Cockatoo knows he is king of the Rescue! He puts on a big display but really just loves attention. Oscar is a permanent resident. He expects his head scratched first when you go inside his flight, and can show off by playing Dead Bird. He now thinks he is king of the new cockatoo flight.

Dakota

Now Loved and Sponsored By: John, April, Barilla, Monty, Vera and Drag Reilly!

Dakota is a Moluccan Cockatoo who got so severely stressed that she had ripped a hole in her chest. After moving to the Rescue and living with her caring flock, her chest is healed, she is out of the collar and loving life! However, she is one of our special needs birds who is not adoptable. Come see her new feathers for yourself. She lives in the Octagon with Bailey and the others.

cockatooBaby

Sponsored by: Your family or business!

Baby is an Umbrella Cockatoo who became too loud for the owner. Adoptable only to someone who doesn't mind the enthusiastic expressions!

cockatoo Romeo

Sponsored by: You can be!

Romeo is a Moluccan Cockatoo who became a plucker. He’s a sweet bird, a little hand shy, hates perches, loves to dance and show feathers. Adoptable to experienced people only.

cockatoo Gonzo

Sponsored by: The Trautwein Family, Sarasota, Florida

Gonzo is a Medium Sulfer Crested Cockatoo who was rescued from a breeder and one of our oldest residents. He recently did an article for the FFF newsletter. Gonzo decided that being a "lap bird" and getting attention is a lot more fun than chasing shoes. He is adoptable and would make a great companion to almost anyone in a single bird home.
