Home to our Educational Outreach Parrots as well as many of our boarded birds, the Landing Zone is a climate controlled building located beside our Special Needs Pavilion.
The Landing Zone allows owners of boarding birds a place to visit with their feathered friend without worry of interruption. The building also serves as our parrot toy making area.
Although the Landing Zone is off limits to visitors, you are certain to catch a glimpse of some of the parrots through the window as you pass by.
The Landing Zone is also home to Author Kira Johns' Parrot Play Day, an adoption event she organizes twice a year at the rescue.
